Millennium Fellowship Project: Voices Unbroken

Voices Unbroken, an independent project led by Millennium Fellow, Comfort Fagbile (I am collaborating with her), is dedicated to supporting children who have experienced sexual abuse. The initiative focuses on three key pillars: awareness, access, and advocacy. By educating communities, providing access to trauma-informed care, and empowering survivors through safe spaces and resources, we aim to reduce stigma and promote healing.
Measurable Goals (August–December 2025)
The project aims to accomplish the following:
- Reach at least 500 students through school-based awareness sessions on child sexual abuse, consent, and reporting. - Establish a partnership with 2 local clinics or organizations to provide referral pathways for counseling and legal support. - Train 30 volunteers in basic trauma response and child protection protocols. - Facilitate the creation of a peer support group for survivors aged 10–16, with monthly sessions.), is dedicated to supporting children who have experienced sexual abuse.
