Millennium Fellowship Project: EmpowerTech Africa
EmpowerTech Africa is a youth-led initiative dedicated to increasing access to quality tech education and empowering young Africans with digital skills for the future of work. Through free workshops, mentorship, and project-based learning, we provide students and underserved youth with the tools they need to succeed in today’s digital economy. By fostering innovation, problem-solving, and tech-driven leadership, EmpowerTech Africa aims to build a generation of change makers who can contribute meaningfully to their communities and beyond.
About the Millennium Fellow
David Bibiresanmi is a student at Lagos State University and a passionate advocate for technology-driven empowerment in Africa. He serves as a Cowrywise Campus Ambassador, MLSA, and Millennium Fellow, combining leadership with community engagement. David is the founder of EmpowerTech Africa, a project dedicated to increasing tech knowledge and nurturing African talents through workshops, mentorship, and project-based training. Beyond academics, he is a software developer, public speaker, and volunteer committed to using technology as a tool for sustainable development and youth advancement.
