" Growing up in Lagos, I witnessed how policy gaps affect real lives, an experience that taught me grassroots change and global policy are two sides of the same coin. This drives my commitment to human rights work and sustainable development. As a Millennium Fellow, I'm excited to merge my political science expertise with hands-on leadership to create tangible solutions, particularly in advancing SDG Peace, Justice, and Reduced Inequalities. This opportunity will amplify my ability to translate principles into actionable programs while collaborating with change makers to scale local solutions for global impact. I'm eager to develop systems that empower marginalized voices where policy and community needs intersect. "

Millennium Fellowship Project: Legal Bridges and Land Rights

Legal Bridges – Advancing Indigenous Land Rights and SDG16 in Coastal Lagos focuses on connecting marginalized indigenous communities with the legal systems that protect their land rights. The project serves youth and adults in these communities.

During the project, we successfully raised awareness about land rights, initiated documentation processes, and began policy dialogues—all contributing to the achievement of SDG 16.
