" I am excited to be a Millennium Fellow because it gives me a platform to turn my ideas into action, connect with passionate change makers, and create meaningful impact in my community. "
Millennium Fellowship Project: Youth Leadership & Career Initiative
My project, Young Leadership Academy, focused on helping students gain clarity about their career choices and leadership potential. I used surveys and interviews to understand how factors like mentorship, academic guidance, peer pressure, and school placement influence their decisions. The project created space for students to reflect on their strengths, identify their interests, and receive guidance that many did not previously have. The goal was to help young people make more informed, purpose-driven academic and career choices.
