" "My work is fueled by a deep belief that healthcare is a human right, not a privileged. The Millennium Fellowship offers a unique platform to refine my leadership, collaborate with change makers, and amplify my efforts in making quality healthcare accessible to underserved communities. I am excited to translate this opportunity into lasting impact, aligned with the SDGs and the vision of a healthier, more equitable world." "
Millennium Fellowship Project: Healthy Hands, Healthy Lives
Healthy Hands, Healthy Lives is a project aimed at creating awareness and educating the community as a whole on the importance of maintaining adequate hand hygiene. This is to promote health and overall well-being. Proper handwashing goes a long way in the prevention of communicable diseases which are very rampant in both rural and urban communities in Nigeria. This project will incorporate community outreach programs and interactive demonstrations to teach the proper handwashing technique and provision of hand sanitizers. This project will target schools, health facilities, and local communities.
