Millennium Fellowship Project: Healthy Hands, Healthy Lives
Healthy Hands, Healthy Lives is a project aimed at creating awareness and educating the community as a whole on the importance of maintaining adequate hand hygiene. This is to promote health and overall well-being. Proper handwashing goes a long way in the prevention of communicable diseases which are very rampant in both rural and urban communities in Nigeria. This project will incorporate community outreach programs and interactive demonstrations to teach the proper handwashing technique and provision of hand sanitizers. This project will target schools, health facilities, and local communities.
About the Millennium Fellow
Adesanya Rasheed is a young aspiring medical student from Lagos State University, Ikeja. From his early days in medical school, he had always been a passionate goal oriented person who is committed to giving back to the society and world at large.
Rasheed is determined to achieve his goal of being a Medical Doctor that will impact lives positively and make his own vital contribution to the development of United Nations’ Sustainable Goals.
