" As an enthusiastic changemaker and advocate, I am passionate about amplifying the voices and growth of Youth. I've always wanted to revolutionize access: to build platforms where everyday people, especially those from underrepresented communities, can utilize to rewrite their stories. And I believe joining the Fellowship can help enhance the skills and tools needed to achieve my goals "

Millennium Fellowship Project: Make & Mind Lab

Make and Mind Lab is a student-led, community-driven mental health initiative aimed at transforming how young people understand and care for their mental health. The project promotes mental health as accessible, stigma-free, and as essential as physical well-being.

The project serves university students facing academic, social, and emotional pressures with limited access to mental health support, as well as secondary school students who need early awareness, guidance, and safe spaces to discuss mental health.

During the Fellowship, we organized two mental-health webinars for university students, attracting over 50 participants. These webinars helped students recognize signs of declining mental health, understand its impact on academics, and practice evidence-based strategies to improve well-being.

We also conducted mental-health outreach in two secondary schools, engaging over 150 students. These sessions focused on stress, trauma, and practical anxiety-management strategies, empowering students to stay emotionally balanced and academically focused.
