United Nations Academic Impact and MCN are proud to partner on the Millennium Fellowship. This year, 60,000+ young leaders applied to join the Class of 2025 on 7,000+ campuses across 170 nations. 290+ campuses worldwide (less than 5%) were selected to host the 4,500+ Millennium Fellows.

Millennium Fellowship Project: Safe Transition

This project is about training and giving tips for high school students on how to have a smooth transition into college and be successful in it. Emphasis is placed on English proficiency, choosing the right major for you, communication skills, and time- management techniques. Furthermore, common problems that university students face will be tackled.

About the Millennium Fellow

Leen Hijazi is a third year industrial engineering student with a strong passion to innovation, problem solving, and continuous learning. She has contributed to diverse projects where challenges are tackled and practical solutions are proposed. Experienced in leadership, volunteering, and event planning, Leen combines her technical expertise with strong organizational skills. Her goal is to apply her skills and engineering knowledge with her dedication to making a significant difference in both society and industry.
