" Cooperation and loyalty are the main drivers to achieving success. Success tastes better when you share it with friends, like-minded people, who believe in the same goals you do. It is a shame to have a mind full of ideas and plans, but not be able to make use of them, and being in the Millennium Fellowship is the perfect opportunity and space to be able to. "
Millennium Fellowship Project: Green Footprint
You know how awareness is the first step in problem solving, that is why I want to start from there. Many people do not understand the impact of their bad habits, from daily water bottles use, to high consumption of plastic bags for groceries, and not needed tissue waste. My plan is to dedicate the instagram page to spreading facts and stats about the effects of plastic or trash in general, on our health and the environment. I will call it "green footprint", because I kept thinking how we have digital footprints online, but make it green for a green environment. For future steps, after acknowledging the problem, I would like to share easy changes that everyone can do in their daily life and surroundings, it can become a real life campaign as well if that is feasible on campus. During this program, I would like to track the progress of the pages' impact, by using a form that my followers can fill, and doing analysis on the responses. This doesn't only help me know which issues I can tackle, if I post the results on the page it will motivate viewers to keep going, to form healthy habits.
