" I've always had a deep passion for mental health, but for a long time, I didn’t know how to channel it into real action. Each time I saw news of suicide or bullying, I felt heartbroken and wondered why the victims never spoke out until I realized the truth, many don't have safe spaces to turn to. The Millennium Fellowship gives me the opportunity, platform, and network to change that, and to create inclusive environments where every voice is heard and valued. "

Millennium Fellowship Project: Yes, You Can Speak Out

This project aimed to address bullying through awareness, response, and prevention. It began by explaining what bullying is, helping participants recognize behaviors they had experienced without previously identifying them as bullying. Through dramatization, participants were trained on how to react in bullying situations. The project also emphasized prevention by explaining the wider impact of bullying and offering practical tips on how to respond when witnessing bullying, despite time constraints limiting fuller presentation.
