Millennium Fellowship Project: HBV-Shield Initiative

The project- HBV-Shield Initiative is meant to spread awareness, get people tested, and encourage Hepatitis B vaccination to prevent the disease. I plan to organize awareness campaigns, free or subsidized Hepatitis B screenings, and help people connect with vaccination centers around them. The goal is to make sure more people know about Hepatitis B, get tested, and take steps to protect themselves and others from the virus invasion. The initiative propose to host two (2) events during the period of the fellowship which will kickstart in August to be able to sensitize and enlighten the public on Hepatitis B virus and preventive measure to take to avoid its invasion.
