Millennium Fellowship Project: Plastic Action Project
Plastic Action Project is a student-led initiative at LUANAR aimed at combating plastic pollution in Mitundu community from September to December 2025. We will conduct a baseline survey to assess knowledge, attitudes, and practices on plastic management, implement target awareness campaigns with hands-on activities, and then carry out a follow up survey to measure change. Our measurable goal is to reach at least 500 community members, achieve 40% increase in correct plastic waste handling practices, and establish at least one active community group championing sustainable plastic management.
