Lynn University | Florida, United States | Advancing SDG 3 & UNAI 9

" I am excited to be a Millennium Fellow because it gives me the opportunity to transform my personal experience with Migraine into meaningful action. This fellowship allows me to connect with others, amplify the voices of those often overlooked, and develop solutions that improve access to care and support. I am driven to create real, lasting impact in the migraine community while advancing global health and well-being in alignment with the SDGs. "
Millennium Fellowship Project: Pawtners in Migraine Advocacy
Pawtners in Migraine Advocacy is an initiative aimed at raising awareness about Migraine, the second leading cause of disability worldwide, and the vital support that properly trained service dogs can provide to individuals living with this condition. The project seeks to educate the community by dispelling myths surrounding Migraine and highlighting how service dogs can enhance the quality of life for those affected. Our measurable goals for the August-December 2025 period include hosting two awareness events at Lynn University, each reaching at least 30 attendees, distributing 100 informational brochures about Migraine and the role of service dogs, and positively impacting 50 to 75 individuals through our outreach efforts. By achieving these goals, we aim to foster a supportive community that recognizes the importance of understanding and advocating for those living with Migraine.
