" "Creativity is seeing what everyone else has seen, and thinking what no one else has thought." Albert Einstein. Creativity drives me to get out of comfort zone and to have the students around me feel supported, confident and connected to their purpose. This is a new beginning - a starting point for me to be a changemaker but open doors for collaboration, visibility and long -term impact in education and youth development. This Fellowship would give me the tools, mentorship and global community I need to grow as a leader. "

Millennium Fellowship Project: Ignite Within

My project is to focus on helping students who feel overlooked or unsure of their purpose and strengths so that they can feel confident about their future and be empowered to make a difference.I am partnering with DMD Network—a project which was a part of Millennium Fellowship in 2024 in my university—to implement my two-prong project, utilizing my creativity and videography skills. For the first prong, I am tackling SDG #4 Quality Education by collecting digital stories of underserved youth in high and middle school education system. For my second prong, promoting SDG #17 Partnerships for the Goals, I am voluntarily acting as the Storytelling and Marketing Coordinator for DMD Network—a social impact venture—to support them. Our goal is to give students the tools and support they need to believe in their potential and making sure they are part of the community and decisions that impact them!
