Millennium Fellowship Project: MindLyfe MUK College Connect
The increasing stress at the campus which can range from personal to academic stress and mental health stigma. The university has got a counselling centre but very few individuals know about it.and the few that know it take advantage of it. We want to create an environment where individuals prioritise their mental health. This can be how they can cope with stress and also alarm them about the counselling centre and it's services.
About the Millennium Fellow
Nakato Hudah Namagembe is a young girl , from Uganda, and actually grew up from Uganda. She is a student at Makerere University, her second year actually doing a course in psychology. This is the girl who has been passionate about leadership and mental health. My leadership skill started from high school. This girl loves helps people socially improve on there mental states which affects their wellbeing. This is something she is so passionate about and is willing to do and improve in her life. Stress has affected many people and a few recognise it. It has led to anxiety overwhelming which affects the lives of people. Her campaign is to alert and educate people about the importance of a good mental health for a proper society.
