Millennium Fellowship Project: Roots
Roots is an art book project focused on conflict resolution through listening.
During the project, we edited 100 pages of content from 10 authors. I painted 25 pages of the book, gained support from 2 mentors, and 10 students showed interest in contributing to or engaging with the book.
About the Millennium Fellow
Asuka Hatano is a creative and globally-minded data science & cognitive science student at Minerva University. She was born in Japan, and is currently studying at a university that travels to 4 continents in 4 years (the US, South Korea, Taiwan, Argentina, India, and Germany). Combining creativity and social justice, she has organized events that bring together different perspectives, such as a gender-themed fashion event and global issues discussion forums. Asuka aspires to work in social entrepreneurship.
