Millennium Fellowship Project: Menstrual health and hygiene
This project focuses on distributing menstrual hygiene products and raising awareness about menstrual health among young girls living in marginalized communities. It serves girls experiencing menstrual poverty, who often lack access to sanitary products and reliable information.
During the project, we successfully provided safe menstrual health products, a three-month supply of sanitary towels, to 30 girls. While the initial goal was to reach 50 to 70 girls, financial constraints limited the number of beneficiaries. The project relied on donations and personal funds, highlighting the need for support and the importance of empowering girls with knowledge and resources to manage their menstrual health safely and with dignity.
