" My work is driven by a deep belief that young people hold the key to solving the climate crisis. Through innovation, collaboration, and education, I aim to equip communities with tools for sustainable change. The Millennium Fellowship excites me because it offers a global platform to refine my leadership, amplify my impact, and align my projects more closely with the UNAI principles and SDGs, ensuring no voice is left behind in the fight for our planet’s future." Millennium Fellowship Project: Green Students Initiative

The Green Students Initiative (GSI) is a youth-led climate leadership program that equips students with the knowledge, skills, and confidence to champion environmental action within their schools and communities. The project focuses on climate education, practical sustainability projects, and youth empowerment through training sessions, campus dialogues, and digital learning.
During the 2025 cycle, GSI brought together students from different institutions to learn about climate change, nature-based solutions, and community resilience. Participants were guided to design and implement small climate projects—such as clean-up campaigns, tree planting, water conservation practices, and awareness forums—impacting their immediate surroundings.
By nurturing young climate leaders and creating platforms for collaboration, the project strengthens climate literacy, community engagement, and youth-driven solutions aligned with the Sustainable Development Goals, especially SDG 13 (Climate Action).
