Millennium Fellowship Project: Uhai Life Sciences

Uhai (Swahili for Life) is a health technology company strengthening health systems through technologies backed by Artificial Intelligence. Uhai Life Sciences seeks to improve systems involved in blood and blood products collection and distribution within hospitals in Eldoret, Kenya. We do this by organizing blood drives to increase the amount of blood the Eldoret blood bank receives, thus increasing access of blood and blood products to those in need
The latest achievement was the blood drive at Moi University Annex where we did blood drive for the blood bank this month. Currently, our innovations strengthen blood and blood products supply chain.

About the Millennium Fellow

Kennedy Omondi Okeyo is a medical laboratory science student at Moi University College of Health Sciences in second year of his study currently. He is passionate of research and community outreach striving to influence change in his community. His love for education and science is driven by the fact that knowledge is naturally set but artificially exploited. He believes that knowledge is power but connection and network is explosive. Throughout his mini studies on research and community, he has established that the main challenge in the Kenyan communities is lack of quality education as well as a clear set-up education system favourable to all citizens. He aligns himself with the believers of education as a key to good life.
