" I am honoured to be part of this movement because I believe in the potential of collective impact. Every small action would potentially add up to a significant change, and this role would amplify my impact. "

Millennium Fellowship Project: Rise and Thrive: Generation of Confident Ladies

Rise and Thrive is an initiative dedicated to empowering girls and young women in Zimbabwe to overcome the limitations imposed by a deeply patriarchal society. By aligning with SDG 5: Gender Equality, this project creates transformative opportunities for young women to build their confidence, self awareness, and leadership capabilities.
During the fellowship, the project managed to conduct online discussions on WhatsApp. The discussions were centred around self-confidence, what it is, it's importance, and how to build it. The major accomplishment was the participation of people during discussions, especially the discussion on reflections and challenge sharing. The responses from the audience showed that they understood what we were talking about and had faced/ facing a similar challenge.
