Millennium Fellowship Project: Bright Minds of Tigray

Bright Minds of Tigray is a youth-led initiative dedicated to empowering students affected by the war in Tigray to rebuild their confidence, mental resilience, and academic motivation. Many young people in the region have lost not only educational opportunities but also hope for the future. Our project addresses this by creating safe, supportive spaces where students heal from trauma, connect with mentors, and re-engage with learning. Through mental resilience workshops, peer-led study circles, and mentorship programs, we help youth transform pain into purpose. By fostering emotional recovery and educational empowerment, Bright Minds of Tigray cultivates a generation of change makers ready to rebuild their communities and shape a brighter, more peaceful future for Tigray.
