" All children deserve equal rights to education and basic needs. Given a chance to be part of Millennium Fellowship will equip me with more skills and knowledge from fellow peers on how best to help the people in my community especially those with a primitive mindset about girl child education and by this, all children will have smiles on their faces and restore lost hope. "

Millennium Fellowship Project: Education for All

My project "Education for all" is aimed at giving equal chances uo all children in the society to get the chance to go to school especially the girl child who is denied Education in my community but is given to the boychild who is believed to be of more value to the family compared to the girl who is under privileged,I believe that all children are equal therefore all of them are entitled to Education.

About the Millennium Fellow

Christine Ayesiga is a young girl aged 23 years from Kampala Uganda. She comes from a family of six girls.Being from a society that promises boy child education compared to the girl child,Christine is determined to end this primitive thinking from her society .Having been given an opportunity to attain education by an NGO and held a number of leadership roles even now at MUBS, she looks forward to taking action on sensitizing parents about girl child education and inspire more young girls in the community who had lost hope.
