" I believe in collective efforts and inclusivity. Being a lawyer turned supply chain professional in making, I work on projects that align with the fellowship's mission, and being part of a cohort of young, motivated students at the campus shall be one of the most amazing experiences of the program. I look forward to learning more and inspiring my fellow participants, too. "
Millennium Fellowship Project: Ramsha Nursery and Primary School
Ramsha Nursery and Primary School is a local mixed school, community driven that is a strong sense of ownership and support from villagers in kisangwa village. Founded by i and my mother who provided first hand support for space and teacher recruitment since she’s a trained early childhood development professional. This family-founded institution has been providing quality education for the past 3 years to an ever changing number of pupils every term due to new entrants that we receive. However, the school now has 80 pupils only both from within the community and out of it. Despite infrastructural challenges, the school recently obtained its work license that accredit it for quality education to youngsters. The school has persevered and achieved significant milestones, for-instance, graduating it’s first class of nursery pupils. It was so amazing witnessing these youngsters and ambitious young leaders celebrating their achievements with their parents, something myself did not have at my nursery level. To me this is so fulfilling and gratifying. The goal behind this school project is to provide quality education and reduce long distances that these young children have to move to a nearest Government education center. This school always reminds me of the importance of collective efforts.
