Millennium Fellowship Project: Generation Tech Space (GTS)

My project Generation Tech Space (GTS) is all about making sure everyone—especially young women, students from rural areas, and people with disabilities—has a fair chance to explore and succeed in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) through innovation and creativity. We know that STEM fields can feel out of reach for many, so we create hands-on learning experiences, mentorship programs, and innovation challenges to spark curiosity and confidence. For example, we run robotics training, tech boot camps, and school outreach programs to introduce students to the exciting world of technology. We don’t just teach—we inspire. Our projects, like creating solar-powered devices and food preservation technology, allow young minds to see how STEM can solve real-world problems. At GTS, we work hard to break gender barriers in STEM by ensuring that girls and young women have the support, resources, and role models they need to thrive. Our mission is simple: to make STEM accessible, fun, and impactful for everyone.
