Millennium Fellowship Project: Afya Tips Initiative

Afya Tips Initiative is a youth-led community health education project founded by Dionis L. Machange, designed to empower secondary school students with essential health awareness and positive life skills. In its initial phase, the project focused on mental health awareness, addressing issues such as stress management, self-esteem, and emotional wellbeing through interactive discussions, educational posters, and student engagement activities. The initiative created a safe platform for students to learn, share experiences, and seek support, promoting openness and resilience among young people. As a progressive project, Afya Tips plans to expand its scope in future phases to cover reproductive health, drug and substance abuse prevention, and personal hygiene, continuing its mission to promote holistic health education and youth empowerment in schools.
