United Nations Academic Impact and MCN are proud to partner on the Millennium Fellowship. This year, 60,000+ young leaders applied to join the Class of 2025 on 7,000+ campuses across 170 nations. 290+ campuses worldwide (less than 5%) were selected to host the 4,500+ Millennium Fellows.

Millennium Fellowship Project: Sexual Reproductive Health and Rights

The project is MENSTRUAL HYGIENE OUTREACH. Theme: BINTI SALAMA, HEDHI SALAMA
it was conducted at Muhimbili primary school on 18th November around 1200hrs.
This project aims at providing education to the young girls on menstruation hygiene and providing them with essential equipment for hygienic practices meaning how can a girl take care of herself when she has started seeing her period.
Why this project? This project is done since there have been missing of classes from the young ladies due to menstrual issues.

About the Millennium Fellow

Margreth P Mtei is a young, promoted and passionate youth. She was born in Tanzania resides at Mbweni, Dar es salaam currently still pursuing her undergraduate at MUHAS. For as long as she recalls, Margreth has always been passionate about her advocacy for Sexual reproductive health and rights in combination with HIV&AIDS. She has successfully organised and participate in different projects and outreaches concerning provision of education to young adolescence from schools on sexual reproductive health and rights as well as Gender Based violence. Magreth desires to grow and make a positive impact in her society as well as globally by providing her own contribution in development of United Nation sustainable goals.
