I am eager to learn, innovate and create meaningful change that empowers communities and inspires future leaders. "
Millennium Fellowship Project: Gender Equality
My ongoing project is called Gender Equality. The project focuses on spreading awareness about gender equality, what it means, how it is practiced, and the outcomes that can occur when it is not practiced. I am mostly serving students in secondary schools. Through this project, I met with secondary school students and engaged them in discussions about what we know and understand about gender equality, which helped spread awareness within the school community. In addition, I made a video talking about gender equality and posted it on my social media accounts, which helped reach a larger audience. Through these efforts, I was able to reach around 140 people.
