United Nations Academic Impact and MCN are proud to partner on the Millennium Fellowship. This year, 60,000+ young leaders applied to join the Class of 2025 on 7,000+ campuses across 170 nations. 290+ campuses worldwide (less than 5%) were selected to host the 4,500+ Millennium Fellows.

Millennium Fellowship Project: Youth Empowerment Project

The project was set to encourage students in secondary schools in our community to remind them of the value of education, but also motivate them to continue pursuing their studies. We would give them tips on how to succeed in school, but also given them direction on their road to further studies.

About the Millennium Fellow

Emmanuel Lipande is a young energetic man born in a family of five children, four males and single female. Emmanuel resides in Blantyre. Currently Emmanuel is at Malawi university of science and technology where he is studying food science and technology. He is a very passionate and patriotic person. Emmanuel portrayed these character, where he managed to run and organize various philanthropic activities at Giving hope to the hopeless organization. This is an nongovernmental organization which was formulated by youths themselves and Emmanuel he is one of the cofounders. Based on his dedication, Emmanuel is planning to offer himself as a reliable asset to serve people within the country and indulging himself in youth empowerment programs as well as contributing to Malawi vision 2063.
