Millennium Fellowship Project: Youth Empowerment Project
The project was set to encourage students in secondary schools in our community to remind them of the value of education, but also motivate them to continue pursuing their studies. We would give them tips on how to succeed in school, but also given them direction on their road to further studies.
About the Millennium Fellow
Liness Phiri is 20 years old girl born in a family of 6. Liness has always liked science and leadership related programs. After her secondary school education, Liness found herself a place at Malawi university of science and technology where she is studying bachelor of engineering chemical engineering. Her dream for leadership didn't end there, she is now the general secretary for chemical engineering society at Malawi university of science and technology, the general secretary for MUST writers guild and the treasure for university funding initiative where she continues to grow in her leadership skills.
