Millennium Fellowship Project: Youth Empowerment Project
The project was set to encourage students in secondary schools in our community to remind them of the value of education, but also motivate them to continue pursuing their studies. We would give them tips on how to succeed in school, but also given them direction on their road to further studies.
About the Millennium Fellow
Nellie Paundi is a 19 years old girl with a precious and different understanding of how important it is to help a girl child. Currently she is studying at the Malawi University of Science and Technology pursuing a bachelor's degree in Medical Microbiology and she is a proud second year student. With the passion she has for girls, she started an organization that is not yet registered known as FUTURESHE. Currently the initiative has only two girls from a certain primary school known as Blantyre Girls based in Blantyre She is looking forward to bring more impact in the near future and she really wants this initiative to be global. She is a bright girl with a strange mind that aims at bringing change.
