United Nations Academic Impact and MCN are proud to partner on the Millennium Fellowship. This year, 60,000+ young leaders applied to join the Class of 2025 on 7,000+ campuses across 170 nations. 290+ campuses worldwide (less than 5%) were selected to host the 4,500+ Millennium Fellows.

Millennium Fellowship Project: Safe Haven Initiative

Safe Haven initiative is a campus project for the Millennium Fellowship class of 2025, at Mbarara university of science and technology, Mbarara-Uganda. It focuses on promoting mental well being for all through creating mental health awareness amongst the groups at risk of developing mental health disorders, promoting preventive measures and offering emotional support to such groups. About the Millennium Fellow

Ampeire Natasha is a student at mbarara university of science and technology pursuing Bachelor's degree of accounting and finance. She is passionate about social impact and committed to empowering unemployed women in her community through potential income-generating opportunities. Her aspirations align with the UN Sustainable Development Goals, particularly Gender Equality, Decent Work and Economic Growth, and Responsible Consumption
