United Nations Academic Impact and MCN are proud to partner on the Millennium Fellowship. This year, 60,000+ young leaders applied to join the Class of 2025 on 7,000+ campuses across 170 nations. 290+ campuses worldwide (less than 5%) were selected to host the 4,500+ Millennium Fellows.

Millennium Fellowship Project: Safe Haven Initiative

Safe Haven initiative is a campus project for the Millennium Fellowship class of 2025, at Mbarara university of science and technology, Mbarara-Uganda. It focuses on promoting mental well being for all through creating mental health awareness amongst the groups at risk of developing mental health disorders, promoting preventive measures and offering emotional support to such groups. It also aims at providing counseling services to those undergoing mental health disorders.

About the Millennium Fellow

Blessed Muhindo Marion is a fourth year pharmacy student at Mbarara University of Science and technology, distinguished by her multifaceted approach to both her academic pursuits and her deep seated passion for humanitarian work. As a future Healthcare professional and she is driven by a profound commitment to serving vulnerable populations with a specific focus on children's well being
