United Nations Academic Impact and MCN are proud to partner on the Millennium Fellowship. This year, 60,000+ young leaders applied to join the Class of 2025 on 7,000+ campuses across 170 nations. 290+ campuses worldwide (less than 5%) were selected to host the 4,500+ Millennium Fellows.

Millennium Fellowship Project: Safe Haven Initiative
Safe Haven initiative is a campus project for the Millennium Fellowship class of 2025, at Mbarara university of science and technology, Mbarara-Uganda. It focuses on promoting mental well being for all through creating mental health awareness amongst the groups at risk of developing mental health disorders, promoting preventive measures and offering emotional support to such groups. It also aims at providing counseling services to those undergoing mental health disorders.
About the Millennium Fellow
Karugaba Vian is a 21 year old Uganda, a teacher in making with passion in having a society free from asexually transmitted diseases and bringing to an end the increasing sexual indiscipline especially among teenagers.
