ABOUT THE MILLENNIUM FELLOWSHIP - CLASS OF 2025

United Nations Academic Impact and MCN are proud to partner on the Millennium Fellowship. This year, 60,000+ young leaders applied to join the Class of 2025 on 7,000+ campuses across 170 nations. 290+ campuses worldwide (less than 5%) were selected to host the 4,500+ Millennium Fellows.

Millennium Fellowship Project: Safe Haven Initiative

Safe Haven initiative is a campus project for the Millennium Fellowship class of 2025, at Mbarara university of science and technology, Mbarara-Uganda. It focuses on promoting mental well being for all through creating mental health awareness amongst the groups at risk of developing mental health disorders, promoting preventive measures and offering emotional support to such groups. It also aims at providing counseling services to those undergoing mental health disorders.

About the Millennium Fellow

KOMUHANGI TRIPHINE is a girl student, born and resides in Uganda, and currently a student at mbarara University of Science and Technology. Being passionate about her home community, she's looking forward to motivate and help girl children in her community engage in education and home projects that can bring about income in their families like soap, jelly, through using the collaborative and leadership skills acquired from the Millennium Fellowship.
