" "I believe that real change begins when individuals use their voices to challenge injustice. Through education, advocacy, and community engagement, I hope to help create a justice system that is equitable for all, especially for those whose voices have too often been ignored." "
Millennium Fellowship Project: Justice Impact Project
Justice Impact Project is a blog that I created to educate individuals about the inequalities within the U.S. criminal justice system in relation to LGBTQ+ individuals. I created this blog 2 years ago to combine my passions for criminal justice and take the teachings I had learned from my school's GSA to spread awareness about this issue. This is something that I am very passionate about because I think by publicizing this information, I can inspire individuals to stand up against injustice and reach out to their representatives to demand change. I unfortunately had to stop working on my blog a few months ago due to issues with the website, but I am eager to revive it in order to continue my mission. I want to have the opportunity to expand on my original idea and have it discuss these types of inequalities across the world.
