" The Millennium Fellowship would grant me the needed experience to further my work in social advocacy. It would also be a great foundation in working on a program of this magnitude. In being a Millennium Fellow, I can meet and learn from like minds and those who are more experienced than me. "

Millennium Fellowship Project: The Beyond Chronic Limits Initiative

My project was based on my desire to bring awareness to chronic illnesses and the way they affect lives in my community. The Beyond Chronic Limits Initiative was formed to be the driving agent to my awareness, bringing about free screening and education to the people of my community about chronic illnesses like hypertension and diabetes which were touched on in the duration of the Fellowship.
