" Sustainability and innovations are among my driving forces, they promote new ideas and strategies that can be implemented for greater development. The hands on experience I gain from this project with further broaden my reasoning so my ideas are more refined and tangible. I am elated because this is huge opportunity to showcase what I've got and learn more about what I've always been curious about "
Millennium Fellowship Project: Healthy Living Initiative
The Healthy Living Initiative is a passion-driven effort to help my community live healthier, happier lives. Growing up, I witnessed how preventable health issues deeply affect people, especially in underserved areas, simply due to a lack of awareness, access, or support. This inspired me to take action in a way that is fun, engaging, and transformative. Through health talks, fitness games, cooking demos with affordable local foods, and mental wellness circles, I strive to inspire individuals—particularly youth, women, and children—to take ownership of their health and well-being. I love going into communities, connecting with people, listening to their needs, and working hand-in-hand to find solutions. There’s something truly powerful about being on the ground, in the heart of society, creating impact face-to-face. It excites me, challenges me, and reminds me why I chose this path in the first place. I’m deeply inspired by leaders like Her Excellency Amina J. Mohammed and Aisha Augie, who prove that true impact starts with dedication to your people. Like them, I aim to uplift my community—not just through policy or advocacy, but through consistent, meaningful action. The Millennium Fellowship is the next step in growing this movement.
