" "Nearly all of the world’s countless conflicts are rooted in inequality, which is created primarily by prejudiced attitudes which sow stereotypes and hatred. Children are vulnerable and impressionable, more prone to absorbing such prejudices and internalizing them. To quote the old but perpetually relevant adage, “it takes a village to raise a child.” The social change I envision begins with educating and empowering the generation of tomorrow, a monumental task requiring renewed initiative and close cooperation between all stakeholders." "
Millennium Fellowship Project: Kaizen10
Kaizen10 builds on the spirit of Kaizen, the Japanese idea that steady, small steps can create meaningful change over time. The “10” stands for SDG 10, the global goal focused on reducing inequalities. Together, the name reflects a simple but powerful belief: when young people are given the right support, even the smallest opportunities can open up a more equal future.
Kaizen10 works to empower children and young people to think critically, build confidence, and access opportunities that might otherwise stay out of reach. The project brings this to life through community engagement, donation drives, and mentorship programmes that help children navigate social barriers. The aim is to help them grow into compassionate, independent individuals who can shape a fairer world.
