" I am excited to join the Millennium Fellowship to connect with a global community of change makers and transform ideas into tangible impact. My mission is fuelled by witnessing the deep injustices faced by underprivileged labourers and marginalised castes, especially the denial of basic education to their children. I believe that restoring compassion, dignity, and access to learning is the first step toward breaking cycles of poverty and discrimination, and I am determined to turn this belief into lasting change. "

Millennium Fellowship Project: Samaikya

Our Project Samaikya strives to make our college campus and hostels more inclusive and accessible for students with disabilities. We have conducted several awareness seminars and experiential workshops to help both students and faculty better understand the realities of accessibility barriers. We have also organized inclusive sports and academic activities that promote meaningful collaboration. Through peer tutoring, alumni mentorship, and continuous engagement with the administration, we aim to build a culture of empathy and equal opportunity where every student feels genuinely supported and valued. In addition, we created a comprehensive handbook for our college that covers essential aspects such as the legal rights of persons with disabilities, relevant government schemes available on campus, and the authorities they can approach whenever they require assistance.
