Millennium Fellowship Project: Samaikya
Our.Project Samaikya works to make our college campus and hostels more inclusive and accessible space for students with disabilities. We have conducted various awareness seminars and experiential workshops to help students and faculty understand accessibility challenges. We have also organized inclusive sports and academic events that encourage collaboration. Through peer tutoring, alumni mentorship, and active engagement with the administration, we aim to foster a culture of empathy and equal opportunity where every student feels supported and valued. We have made a handbook for our college which covers various aspects such as legal rights of persons with disabilities, various government schemes that they can avail in college, the authorities they can reach in case theyneed help etc.
