United Nations Academic Impact and MCN are proud to partner on the Millennium Fellowship. This year, 60,000+ young leaders applied to join the Class of 2025 on 7,000+ campuses across 170 nations. 290+ campuses worldwide (less than 5%) were selected to host the 4,500+ Millennium Fellows.

" Moved by inequality and injustice, I have always strived to help the people who are marginalized because I believe that no individual should suffer because of their social and economic circumstances. With Millennium Fellowship, I can amplify my efforts to assist even the last person standing. Millennium will also help me connect like minded individuals all around the world. I see Millennium Fellowship as an opportunity to build my skills and enlarge my thinking so that I can come up with creative ideas to help my fellow humans. Millennium Fellowship will also help me to creatively apply modern solutions keeping in mind the unique conditions of my country. "

Millennium Fellowship Project: Nari: Strengthening Women

It community-driven initiative focused on empowering survivors of domestic violence through legal awareness, capacity-building, and access to support systems. The project aims to create safe spaces where women can voice their experiences, understand their rights, and connect with resources that enable them to break cycles of abuse. The project also aim at educating and capacity building .Measurable Goals (August–December 2025)
Conduct 5 legal literacy workshops for women in vulnerable communities.
Reach at least 200 beneficiaries through awareness sessions and resource distribution.
Establish a referral network with local legal aid providers and NGOs.
Launch a digital resource toolkit on domestic violence rights and remedies, accessible to at least 500 users.

About the Millennium Fellow

Imama has been born and raised in India. Currently she is a penultimate student at National Law University, Delhi. Imama always had an empathetic approach towards life. Her interest areas are human rights, environment law and feminist critique of law. She has always strived towards social justice and has used her voice to support oppressed, migrants, women, children and destitute. She hopes that peace and prosperity prevails in the world where every human peacefully cohabits with other humans. She envisions a world full of love, equality and hope and strives to achieve that.
