" A deep belief in equity and justice drives my work and my studies. I see law as a bridge between knowledge and community impact, and the Millennium Fellowship offers a space to strengthen that bridge collaboratively. The skills and perspectives I gain through this fellowship will help me transform ideas into tangible projects that advance inclusion, empowerment, and the Sustainable Development Goals. I am excited to learn, share, and grow as part of a global community committed to meaningful change "

Millennium Fellowship Project: Project Aarohan

Project Aarohan aims to develop underprivileged children's social and educational skills in orphanages and NGOs. I believe that it is high time to address the invisible social disparity in terms of education, skills, technological disparity, information about mental health, nutritional status, and legal knowledge about their rights and duties. The project aims towards building the overall capacity of the children's by collaborating with NGOs and Orphanages where I along with my team educate them and build their capacity therefore, making them better persons. It also aims at bridging social divide in terms of access to technology, legal mechanisms, exposure to mental health and overall wellness. To undertake these measures, I along with my team wishes to collaborate with the local NGOs and Orphanages and visit them weekly and conduct informative and interactive sessions on various topics each week. The sessions will reflect on different issues like legal rights i.e. right to information, right to privacy and various other fundamental rights, POCSO law, right to education. Conducting workshops on mental health and wellness, technology and various free resources that can be used for education, government schemes etc. We also wish to conduct a fundraiser to support them with stationaries, books etc.
