" "I believe that law is something more than just rules to govern. It is a tool to create fairness, make the unheard heard, and shape a better future. The Millennium Fellowship is my chance to turn this belief into action." "
Millennium Fellowship Project: Project IQRA
A lot of kids in rural areas donate get the same chances to learn as those in cities. In my small hometown Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh, I founded the Progressive Youth Welfare Association to change that. We began by running weekend mentorship sessions in one government school, sharing textbooks, setting up parent workshops, and connecting students with volunteer tutors. Today, PYWA has grown to partner with three schools and operate two hospitals across three cities in India, tackling both educational and health challenges that prevent students from staying in class. Through our mentorship programs, resources sharing drives, and community awareness campaigns, we help rural students stay enrolled, improve their grades, and dream bigger. I also collaborated with IDIA Delhi to mentor underprivileged aspiring law students, guiding them through entrance exams and application processes. Together, these efforts aim to break the cycle of educational inequality and build a healthier, more empowered generation.
