UNITED NATIONS ACADEMIC IMPACT AND MCN PROUDLY PRESENT SHLOK RANJAN, A MILLENNIUM FELLOW FOR THE CLASS OF 2025.
National Law University Delhi | New Delhi, India | Advancing SDG 16, SDG 4 & UNAI 3

" Life doesn't come with a built-in purpose, and that can feel overwhelming. But I've found that the most honest way to live is to create meaning through what we do for others. Working for social equality, especially for people whose voices often go unheard, feels like my way of answering that big, uncomfortable question — why are we here? If my efforts can help even a few people live with more dignity and joy, then I think I've done something worthwhile with my existence. "
Millennium Fellowship Project: Project CyberSahara
Cyber Sahara is a digital legal awareness initiative aimed at bridging the gap between cyber laws and everyday citizens. We serve individuals who face online risks but lack the knowledge or confidence to seek help—such as victims of cyberbullying, online blackmail, impersonation, financial fraud, identity theft, and privacy violations. Our project empowers the community with practical, accessible information on digital rights, safe online practices, and legal remedies under the IT Act, 2000, and Bhartiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023.
About the Millennium Fellow
Shlok Ranjan is a bright, committed, and socially conscious third-year B.A. LL.B. (Hons.) student at the National Law University, Delhi. Born in Ranchi, where he spent his formative years, Shlok later moved to Patna, where he grew up and developed a deep connection to his community. With roots in the remote village of Baruri in Kaimur, Bihar, he carries a grounded perspective shaped by both rural and urban experiences. His early work with infant NGOs in Patna exposed him to the grassroots realities of social and economic inequality, sparking his passion for advocacy. Focused on advancing social equality, especially in labour and employment rights, Shlok hopes to use his legal skills to make everyday life fairer and better for people in ways that are both practical and lasting.
