Millennium Fellowship Project: Project S3F - Sharing Streets Sustaining Futures

Project Sharing Streets-Sustaining Futures (S3F) recognizes that true sustainability is not only about green spaces, or smart infrastructure, but also about nurturing inclusive ecosystems where all living beings share urban spaces. During the Millennium Fellowship period, Project S3F kickstarter a social media awareness campaign posting infographics about urban coexistence with animals, did surveys to
understand ground realities about the conflict and began a conversation with independent rescuers to share their thoughts on why the current measures being contemplated by the government to remove street dogs are not sustainable. The project tried to steer the narrative in a more solution-focused direction. The project also involved fundraising and the funds were directed towards helping make streets safer by deworming and vaccinating street dogs. This was done in collaboration with a local NGO, AnimalCare.
