" I am happy to be a Millennium Fellow by it presents me with a chance to apply my interest and excitement in law and systemic injustice into practical work. I undertake this, because I want to make sure that underrepresented groups such marginalized people or those with disability feel listened to, honored and empowered. "

Millennium Fellowship Project: Samaikya

Our Project Samaikya strives to make our college campus and hostels more inclusive and accessible for students with disabilities. We have conducted several awareness seminars and experiential workshops to help both students and faculty better understand the realities of accessibility barriers. We have also organized inclusive sports and academic activities that promote meaningful collaboration. Through peer tutoring, alumni mentorship, and continuous engagement with the administration, we aim to build a culture of empathy and equal opportunity where every student feels genuinely supported and valued. In addition, we created a comprehensive handbook for our college that covers essential aspects such as the legal rights of persons with disabilities, relevant government schemes available on campus, and the authorities they can approach whenever they require assistance.
