" As a Millennium Fellow, I'm excited to scale my work at the intersection of law and social impact, especially through initiatives like the Centre for Disability Studies and Empowerment. I believe that creating inclusive spaces isn't just a cause...it’s a responsibility we owe to build a more just and empathetic world.
In addition to this, Millennium Fellowship directly helps in achieving my target of reducing inequalities, plus I get to meet a log of amazing people who are in the same boat as me "
Millennium Fellowship Project: Saathi: Rights and Reach
We sensitised people across office, colleges and school through various means with respect to Disability ID(UDID) issued by government authority and government schemes. We conducted activities. We conducted discussion amongst students with disabilities to open the dialogue on critical issues. We also reached out to government to set up camp to issue cards to person with disabilities and reduce the gap between government and PwD and currently in talks with them.
