" I'm thrilled to be a Millennium Fellow because it offers the opportunity to collaborate with driven peers who share my passion for creating positive change. This fellowship is more than a platform, it’s a community where diverse perspectives meet, challenge, and inspire one another to design sustainable solutions for real-world problems. My work is fueled by a belief that small, intentional actions can ripple outward to create lasting impact. Through the Fellowship, I hope to refine my ideas, learn from others, and amplify efforts that empower communities, foster equity, and build a future that reflects our shared values and aspirations. "
Millennium Fellowship Project: Saathi: Rights and Reach
We sensitised people across office, colleges and school through various means with respect to Disability ID(UDID) issued by government authority and government schemes. We conducted activities. We conducted discussion amongst students with disabilities to open the dialogue on critical issues. We also reached out to government to set up camp to issue cards to person with disabilities and reduce the gap between government and PwD and currently in talks with them.
