Millennium Fellowship Project: Saathi: Rights and Reach
We sensitised people across office, colleges and school through various means with respect to Disability ID(UDID) issued by government authority and government schemes. We conducted activities. We conducted discussion amongst students with disabilities to open the dialogue on critical issues. We also reached out to government to set up camp to issue cards to person with disabilities and reduce the gap between government and PwD and currently in talks with them.
About the Millennium Fellow
Bhanu Prakash Golla is a Second year law student at National Law University, Jodhpur, India. He was born in Nijavalli, Andhra Pradesh, India. Bhanu prakash is passionate in advocating for social justice causes i.e. Rights of the specially abled people, Rights of the marginalized communities of the society. Bhanu Prakash has also joined several same minded individuals advocating for these rights at his university. Bhanu Prakash wants to be in a professional arena where he would be further empowered and encouraged to further the UN Sustainable Goals.
