ABOUT THE MILLENNIUM FELLOWSHIP - CLASS OF 2025

United Nations Academic Impact and MCN are proud to partner on the Millennium Fellowship. This year, 60,000+ young leaders applied to join the Class of 2025 on 7,000+ campuses across 170 nations. 290+ campuses worldwide (less than 5%) were selected to host the 4,500+ Millennium Fellows.

Millennium Fellowship Project: Saathi: Rights and Reach

We sensitised people across office, colleges and school through various means with respect to Disability ID(UDID) issued by government authority and government schemes. We conducted activities. We conducted discussion amongst students with disabilities to open the dialogue on critical issues. We also reached out to government to set up camp to issue cards to person with disabilities and reduce the gap between government and PwD and currently in talks with them.

About the Millennium Fellow

Meenakshi Meena is a dedicated student currently pursuing her B.A. LL.B. from the National law University, jodhpur. Born in rajasthan she has been deeply rooted in the values of empathy, justice as she herself saw the reality from the ground. Meenakshi has shown a strong passion for advocating for those in need, whether it concerns women's rights, children's rights,etc., she believes that even a single step helping the needy one can bring meaningful change in their lives. And this same believe fuels her commitment to contribute to society through extends her support to the broader framework of sustainable and inclusive development, aligning with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals.
